In our ongoing mission to inspire the next generation of women in music, we’ve teamed up with Butterfly Effect to put together a vinyl record featuring some of the most exciting female artists in the North East right now. Co-curated by Rianne Thompson of Amazing Radio/BBC Music Introducing, the record will be released on 17th May, and to celebrate we’re hosting a gig in Voodoo Cafe, with performances from some of the artists featured on the record.
Other artists on the album are namely GGAllan Partridge, Blóm, Girl From Winter Jargon, Zarahruth & Jennifer Walton, and you might just have to give it a listen as quite a few of the tracks are yet to be released elsewhere! You’ll be able to buy a freshly released copy at the event, as well as Noisy Daughters merch.
Plus! The first 50 people through the door will get a free bottle of “Noisy Daughters” beer courtesy of local brewers Saints Row Brewing Co.
Tickets are £5 available from: www.skiddle.com/e/13487519
Or £15 will bag you a ticket AND a copy of the record, to pick up on the night.
All money raised from the sale of the vinyl and this event will go to funding further #NoisyDaughters events and workshops.
Big thanks to Darlington For Culture – the official site and Butterfly Effect for supporting the vinyl, and Creative Darlington Voodoo Cafe and Saints Row Brewing Co. for supporting this launch event .
